Whilst champion of Parish and Deanery ministry Bishop Martin has extensive experience education and ministry development for both ordained and lay. <\/span><\/h6>\n

First as Executive Director of the Thompson Centre, in St Louis, Missouri then as Principal of Westcott House, Cambridge.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

He read Geography and then Theology at Jesus College, Cambridge, before a year at Ripon College, Cuddesdon then an English Fellowship at Union Theological Seminary in New York City.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

After serving his title in the Lincoln Diocese he returned to New York City where he served as curate at the Church of the Epiphany and Assistant Director of Trinity Institute, Trinity Wall Street.<\/p>\n

As Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich he is part review of Church strategy being led by the Archbishop of York. In this capacity he leads on ministry for the Church bringing to the table a wealth of knowledge and experience.<\/p>\n

He is married to the Reverend Jutta Brueck, Priest in Charge of St Thomas\u2019 Ipswich, and they have two children, Anna, 16 and Luke, 13. He is a keen and able cook, and a keen but less able saxophonist.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
