2000: The Deanery: Catching the Vision

The Seventh National Deaneries Consultation titled “The Deanery: Catching the Vision” was held at Stoke Rochford Hall, near Grantham in October 2002.

Over 100 deanery and other representatives from 33 dioceses attended the conference to explore changing patterns of Ministry in the Deanery . A key element of the conference was to learn and exchange from experiences in their own situations.

In addition to the talks and discussions around the main topic the Deanery Jottings boards where delegates were invited to share details of “What is happening in your deanery?”. These Jottings proved a great source of inspiration and were poured over and discussed throughout the conference.
