2016: More for less

2016 Conference

The Renewal and Reform programme is not just about the Simplification Agenda”. At the heart of Reform and Renewal is Mission - Spiritual and numerical growth, Contributing to the common good and Re-imagining ministry.

The Deanery has a key role in the vision to re-shape the Church - how do we transform the way our Deaneries operate to help with the development and delivery of the strategy to re-imagine and re-energise ministry in the Church?

The conference will hear from people who are doing and have done this, and discuss with them and others how Deaneries can contribute to the mission and ministry of the church of the future.

Deaneries are an established and integral resource: essential in the furtherance of mission and facilitating the Renewal and Reform programme. So ….
-  How can Deaneries act as a significant, strategic focus for mission and ministry?
-  How will we equip the Deanery to reshape, re-imagine and re-energise ministry in the Church of England so that it is equipped both to grow the church in every community and contribute to 'the common good'.

Whether you are new and just starting out at this Deanery thing or an experienced hand, this conference is an opportunity to explore future possibilities, learn from and share experiences, and build confidence to enable the Deanery be a key component in the delivery of the vision of the Church of the future.
