The consultation was held at Stoke Rochford Hall, near Grantham, in October 2002, and was organised on behalf of CHDG – the Church House Deaneries Group, by Canon Colin Hill (Chairman), Nicolete Fisher, Dave Maxwell (Secretary/Treasurer), Roy Martin, Tug Wilson, Canon Robin Brown, Joanne Cox

The conference was attended by just over 130 deanery and other representatives from 41 dioceses.
